The MGC3130 is the world's first three-dimensional (3D) tracking and gesture controller based on an electric field (E-field). The chip is based on Microchip's patented GestIC® technology and enables the input of user commands with natural hand and finger movements in free space. The GestIC Colibri Suite is processed on the chip and enables a wide range of gesture applications that shorten developers' development cycles. Due to its configurable sensor states, a mobile-friendly power consumption of only 150 microwatts can be realized.
