Description
The powerful microchip picoPower 8-bit AVR RISC-based microcontroller combines 16 KB ISP flash memory with read and write capabilities, 512B EEPROM, 1 KB SRAM, 23 general I/O lines, 32 general work registers, 3 flexible timers/counters with comparison modes, internal and external interrupts, serial programmable USART, 1 byte-oriented serial 2-wire interface, serial SPI port, 6-channel 10-bit A/D converter (8-channels in TQFP and QFN/MLF packages), programmable watchdog timer with internal oscillator and five software-selectable power-saving modes. The module operates between 1.8 and 5.5 V.
By executing powerful commands in a single clock cycle, the module achieves throughput close to 1 MIPS per MHz, balancing power consumption and processing speed.
