Summary
The powerful, energy-saving microchip 8-bit AVR RISC-based microcontroller combines 64 KB ISP flash memory with read and write capabilities, 2 KB EEPROM, 4 KB SRAM, 53 general I/O lines, 32 general work registers and 1 real-time counter, 4 flexible timers/counters with comparison modes and PWM, 2 USARTs, 1 byte-oriented serial 2-wire interface, 1 8-channel/10-bit A/D converter with optional differential input stage with programmable gain, programmable watchdog timer with internal oscillator, serial SPI interface, 1 JTAG (IEEE 1149.1 compliant) test interface for on-chip debugging and programming and choice of 6 software power-saving modes. The module operates with a voltage of 2.7 - 5.5 V.
By executing powerful commands in a single clock cycle, the module achieves throughput close to 1 MIPS per MHz, balancing power consumption and processing speed.
