Description:
Microchip's high-performance, low-power 8-bit AVR® RISC-based microcontroller combines 8 KB of ISP flash memory with read and write capabilities, 512B of EEPROM, 1 KB of SRAM, 23 general purpose I/O lines, 32 general purpose working registers, three flexible timers/counters with compare modes, internal and external interrupts, serial programmable USART, one byte-oriented two-wire serial interface, 6-channel 10-bit A/D converter (8-channel in TQFP and QFN/MLF package), programmable watchdog timer with internal oscillator, serial SPI port and five software selectable power saving modes. The device operates between 2.7-5.5 volts.
By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, the device achieves a throughput of nearly 1 MIPS per MHz, achieving a balance between power consumption and processing speed.
