Ultra-low-power Arm Cortex-M0+ MCU with 32-Kbytes of Flash memory, 32 MHz CPU

The STM32L031x4/6 ultra-low-power family includes the powerful ARM® Cortex®-M0+ 32-bit RISC core operating at a frequency of 32 MHz, embedded high-speed memories (up to 32 Kbytes of flash program memory, 1 Kbyte of data EEPROM, and 8 Kbytes of RAM), and a comprehensive set of advanced I/Os and peripherals.

The STM32L031x4/6 devices offer high power efficiency over a wide power spectrum. This is achieved through a wide range of internal and external clock sources, internal voltage matching and multiple low-power modes.
The STM32L031x4/6 devices offer multiple analog functions, a 12-bit ADC with hardware oversampling, two ultra-low-power comparators, multiple timers, a low-power timer (LPTIM), three general-purpose 16-bit timers, an RTC and a SysTick that can be used as a time base. They also have two watchdogs, one watchdog with independent clock and window capability and one window watchdog based on the bus clock.

In addition, the STM32L031x4/6 devices have standard and advanced communication interfaces: one I2C, one SPI, one USART, and one low-power UART (LPUART) interface.
The STM32L031x4/6 also includes a real-time clock and a set of backup registers that are powered in standby mode.

The STM32L031x4/6 ultra-low-power devices operate from a supply voltage of 1.8 to 3.6 V (down to 1.65 V at power-down) with BOR and from 1.65 to 3.6 V without the BOR option. They are available in the -40 to +125 °C temperature range. A comprehensive set of power saving modes enables the development of low power consumption applications.
