Microchip's ENC424J600 offers a cost-effective, stand-alone 10/100 Base-T Ethernet interface controller with integrated MAC and PHY, cryptographic hardware security modules + factory-programmed, unique MAC address. A 24 kByte on-chip RAM buffer is available for transmitting + receiving operations. ENC424J600 has an industry-standard serial peripheral interface or a parallel interface. They are designed as an Ethernet network interface for each microcontroller with SPI or a standard parallel port. The ENC424J600 enables designers to develop secure, network-connected and Internet-connected embedded applications with minimal footprint, cost and complexity.
