The split-gate cell design and the thick oxide tunnel injector are more reliable and easier to manufacture in comparison to other approaches. The SST39SF010A/020A/040 devices write (program or delete) using a 4.5 - 5.5 V power supply.
The SST39SF010A/020A/040 devices comply with the JEDEC standard pin assignments for x8 memory.
The SST39SF010A/020A/040 devices offer a powerful byte program and a maximum byte program time of 20 µs.
These devices use toggle bit or data # polling to indicate the completion of the programming process.
