Description

The SST39SF010A / 020A / 040 is a CMOS Multipurpose Flash (MPF) manufactured using SST's proprietary high performance CMOS SuperFlash technology. The split gate cell design and the thick oxide tunnel injector achieve better reliability and manufacturability compared to alternative approaches. The SST39SF010A / 020A / 040 devices write (program or delete) with a 4.5-5.5 V power supply.
The SST39SF010A / 020A / 040 devices correspond to the JEDEC standard pin assignments for x8 memories.
The SST39SF010A / 020A / 040 devices offer a powerful byte program and a maximum byte program time of 20 µs.
These devices use Toggle Bit or Data # Polling to indicate the completion of the programming process.
They have built-in hardware and software data protection schemes to protect against accidental writing.
These devices have been designed, manufactured and tested for a wide range of applications and offer a guaranteed typical life of 100,000 cycles.
Data retention is estimated at more than 100 years.
