The propeller chip is designed to provide high-speed processing for embedded systems with low power consumption
and a small footprint. The propeller chip is not only fast, but also offers versatility and performance
with its eight processors, known as cogs, which can simultaneously perform tasks independently or collaboratively, and
boasts a relatively simple architecture that is easy to learn and use. Two programming languages are available: Spin
(a high-level, object-based language) and propeller assembly. Both contain user-defined commands for easy management of the
propeller chip.
