MAX220-MAX249, +5 V powered, multi-channel RS-232 drivers/receivers

Descriptions:
The MAX220-MAX249 family of line drivers/receivers is designed for all EIA/TIA-232E and V.28/V.24 communication interfaces, especially for applications in which ±12 V is not available. The MAX225, MAX233, MAX235 and MAX245/MAX246/MAX247 models do not require external components and are recommended for applications in which PCB space is critical. The MAX220-MAX249 are available in 26 different housings for temperatures ranging from 0 to +70°C up to -55°C up to +125°C.
