The ATL431 and ATL432 are adjustable three-pin shunt controllers with specified thermal
thermal stability across applicable automotive, commercial and industrial temperature ranges. The output voltage can
be set to any value between Vref (approx. 2.5 V) and 36 V using two external resistors. These
Devices have a typical output impedance of 0.05 µA.
The active output circuit provides a very sharp switch-on characteristic, whereby these components
act as an alternative for zener diodes in many applications such as onboard control, adjustable power supplies, power supply units and switching power supplies.
The ATL43x offers a 20-fold improvement in the cathode current range compared to its predecessor TL43x. It is also stable
with a wider range of load capacities and values.
