Fixed voltage, 45-µA, precision micropower shunt voltage reference
The LM4040 series of shunt voltage references are versatile, easy-to-use references suitable for a wide range of applications. The 2-pin fixed-output device requires no external capacitors for operation and is stable under all capacitive loads. In addition, the reference provides low dynamic impedance, low noise and low temperature coefficient to maintain stable output voltage over a wide range of operating currents and temperatures. The LM4040 uses a fuse and Zener-Zap reverse breakdown voltage trimming during wafer sorting to provide four output voltage tolerances ranging from 0.1% (maximum) for the A Class to 1% (maximum) for the D Class. This provides developers with a high degree of flexibility in selecting the best price/performance ratio for their applications.
